Mains Motors is a company that has been started from an idea about the recycling of scrap metal. We already own a non ferrous metals recycling centre in Bedford. We are a family run business that has been in the trade for many years.

Mains Motors (Bedford) is a team of 4 skilled personnel that carry out the de-pollution and removal of saleable parts from end of life vehicles. We do this to supply trade and the public with quality second hand used car spares. Our team is dedicated to their job and are hardworking individuals who each impart knowledge on one another.

Mains Motors (Bedford) is a business that has stemmed from a parent company that is in the recycling trade. As a company we strive to recycle each and every part of an ELV thus reaching the UK target of 85% of parts recycled. The UK currently sits at around 78% of parts being recycled. We strive to bring this percentage up to an acceptable level therefore bringing us inline with other foreign countries.

Our clients whether trade or public will always come first. We are here to provide a service that greatly benefits our clients as well as the Environment. Our clients will be able to order a part from us and not have to scramble around in the mud and wet weather to get this part. They will be on the shelf ready and waiting for the right client to come along. As we strip the ELV’s down for every saleable part then there is no need for us to store vehicles that have been striped and de-polluted therefore providing a safer and cleaner environment for everyone concerned.
